Important Warning for Medicare Enrollees

For example, I’ve seen people moved into C-SNP (Chronic Special Needs Plans) even though they don’t have a chronic condition. This can cause serious issues with coverage and access to care.

Here’s the most important thing you need to know:
Never give your Medicare number or personal information to someone who calls you unexpectedly. All an agent needs is your name, address, birthday, and your Medicare number — and they can change your plan without your knowledge.

Your best protection is simple:
Work with a local, trusted Medicare broker who will do a proper needs analysis and make sure you’re placed in the right plan.
