  • Medigap Policy Premium Range: $29.00 – $940.10

Total Monthly Premium:

  • $193.90 – $1,105.10 (includes Standard Part B premium of $174.70)

Medigap Policy (Medicare Supplement):

  • Premium Range in ZIP Code 29801 (Example): $29.00 – $940.10

Coverage Details:

  • Cost Coverage: Pays most of the 20% of costs that Original Medicare doesn’t cover, plus additional costs based on the policy you choose.
  • Policy Providers: Typically administered through life insurance companies, and premiums vary by location.
  • Consistent Benefits: Your benefits won’t change, and as long as you pay your premiums, the company cannot drop you. Premiums may increase annually.
  • Premium Variations: Reflect the different prices companies can charge for the same policy or based on which lettered policy you choose (Plans labeled A-L).
  • Enrollment Timing: If you don’t get a Medigap policy when first eligible, you may not be able to buy one later, or you may pay more. When turning 65, there are no health questions or pre-existing condition requirements. If you wait to purchase later, you could be subject to underwriting.
